روستای بالسین در بخش کندوان میانه البته تشخیص اینکه معنای اصلی بالسین چیست با توجه به تحریفاتی که در زمان شاه پهلوی صورت گرفته دشوار می نماید و مردم خود معانی مختلفی را راجع به این نام در ذهن دارند که ما در اینجا سعی می کنیم شما را با چندی از این معانی آشنا سازیم .
عده ای عقیده دارند نام بالسین را به خاطر شکلی که روستا دارد بر آن نهاده اند زیرا اگر به بالسین ازسمت
بالا (یال باشی) نگاه کنیم این روستا را به شکل بال پرنده سین خواهیم یافت.
و نیز عده ای بر این باورند که نام این روستا را به دلیل عسل های مرغوبی که دارد بر آن نهاده اند.
بعضی از ساکنان روستا آن را بالیسل می خوانند و این طور استنباط می شود که چون این روستا در مسیر رود و حوضه آبخیز واقع شده و احتمال جاری شدن سیل در آن بسیار میرفته است به این نام خوانده می شود .
روستای زیبای بالسین در ۲۵ کیلو متری شهرستان میانه بخش کندوان قرار دارد به جرعت بایدگفت که یکی از زیباترین روستاهای استان آذر بایجان شرقی می باشد.
در وصف بالسین باید به رودخانه تیر چای اشاره کنم که از کوههای سر به فلک کشیده بز گوش و از چشمه های جوشان آن سرچشمه گرفته ودر امتداد مسیر خود از باغهای روستای کوچک خلفلو گرفته تاروستای اونیلق را سیراب می کند.
از سر چشمه های این رودخانه در بخش چراگاه یونجالی باید اشاره کرد .
این چراگاه دارای چمنزارهایی با وسعت زیادی هست که دامداران در بهار از ۱۵ اردیبهشت ماه دامهای خود را به این چراگاهها آورده وتا اواخر شهریور دراین مکان چادر زده ومی مانند همین چراگاه دارای مناطق زیبایی است مثل نجف تنگه سی و آبشار زیبای آن.
به غیر از یونجالی چراگاههای دیگری هم هست که اینجا فقط به نام آنها اشاره میکنم (گرم دره ـ گورگوره ـ گانگالی ـ سچانی )
اوروان(دره حوریان) بله هرکی این اسم وقتی می شنوه یاد دره ای زیبا با پوشش گیاهی و مناظربکر آن می افته که دارای آبشاری زیبا به نام هازارا در اول این منطقه قرار دارد. این دره مابین روستای برزیلیق وبالسین است.
آبگرم یا بهتره بگم ایستی سو بعد از اینکه باغهای سرسبز که در امتداد رودخانه قرار دارد را پشت سر می گذاری جایی که دو شاخه رودخانه تیر چای به هم می رسند
در ابتدای شاخه غربی این آب گرم قرار دارد که هر وقت قدم به این منطقه می گذاری حتما” محو منظره بکر آن خواهی شد.
قلا(قله):اول ورود به روستا را یال باشی میگن حدود ۵۰۰ متر که از یال باشی گذشتین در سمت چپتان به تپه بلندی بر می خورید که به آن قالا یا همان قله می گویند که به روایتی مردم این روستا در قدیم هنگام حمله دشمنان به این قله روی می آوردند. و از هجوم دشمنان در امان بودند.
یادتان باشه اگه خواستین به روستای زیبا و سر سبز ما تشریف بیارین حتی در چله تا بستان لباس گرم یادتان نره.
